The Orthodox Study Bible: In my experience this is the Bible of choice. It combines the very readable New King James Version with a full set of footnotes and instructional articles that instruct the reader in the depth of the ancient Church's deep encounter with the living God revealed in Holy Scripture. Anyone who really delves into this edition of the Bible will encounter the immediacy of the Holy Spirit's voice linking the early Church with the believer of the 21st century. Ask for it in the EHS Book Store.
